Speaker Information

Jason joined FORTÉ as Managing Director of the wholly owned subsidiary, Magenium Solutions, in 2024. In this role, Jason leads what is now the Microsoft Solutions Business at FORTÉ where he sets the strategic direction for growth and success for the business, which is focused on delivering Microsoft solutions including Microsoft Teams room services, unified communication voice services, and more. Jason has more than 20 years of experience in workplace technology including audiovisual and unified collaboration solutions. He is a customer advocate as well as a platform device specialist for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other UC solutions.

With over 3+ years of dedicated experience at Yealink, Regend serves as the Regional Tech Lead, spearheading technical support, solution design, and product roadmap delivery for conference and collaboration systems across Yealink's North America (Northwest and Midwest) regions. In his role (since January 2024), Regend works closely with authorized distributors and channel partners, regularly travelling across the U.S. to guide informed deployments and configurations of Yealink's latest AI-enhanced meeting technologies.
Prior to this leadership position, he built a strong technical foundation as:
- a Sr. Solution Engineer supporting unified communication providers across North America (March 2023–Dec 2023),
- a Sales Engineer focusing on custom conferencing setups (May 2022–March 2023),
- and a Senior Customer Support Engineer at CDNetworks, managing global escalation response and internal training (Mar 2021–Feb 2022)
Regend holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Data Communications & Networking from Multimedia University (Malaysia, 2019), and is skilled in system administration, network design, and web development. He also contributed to blockchain‑based IoT and agent‑performance tracking platforms during his undergraduate research.
